Velvet Groove is the new name for the band formerly known as The Crystal Set, still playing Christchurch weddings under new branding. Their set runs from timeless love songs through to modern dancefloor favourites, shifting from an ambient early-evening sound to high-energy later sets, built around a consultation with each couple beforehand.
